If Christian Nationalism succeeds (I don’t believe it will succeed nor do I hope it will), then American Christians will be robbed of something many American evangelicals do everything they can to avoid. They will be robbed of a wonderful manifestation of God’s grace.
When the early church experienced persecution, they didn’t band together to call for and/or try to form an earthly Christian nation. They prayed for more boldness to proclaim the gospel in the face of persecution (Acts 4:23-31).
Most American Evangelicals Don’t Want That
The Bible tells Christians to consider it all joy when they encounter various trials (James 1:2-4).
Most American evangelicals don’t want that.
The Bible tells Christians to rejoice with exultation when they share in the sufferings of Christ (1 Peter 4:12-17).
Most American evangelicals don’t want that.
The Bible tells Christians that if they seek to live a godly life they *will be* persecuted (2 Timothy 3:12).
Most American evangelicals don’t want that.
The Bible tells Christians to deny themselves, take up their crosses, follow Christ, and proclaim the gospel (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 8:34).
Most American evangelicals don’t want that.
Jesus made it clear that His kingdom is not of this world–that He didn’t come to establish an earthly kingdom (John 6:15; 18:36).
The Jews didn’t want that and they subsequently killed Him.
Most American evangelicals don’t want that either. Most American evangelicals don’t really want heaven. They want heaven on earth. They want a heaven created in their imagination–a heaven that mimics the life they want to live here, now–much like the false Jesus created in the imagination of many American evangelicals.
Don’t Want Christian Nationalism
What do most American Evangelicals really want?
Creature comforts and temporal safety. They want to have their apple pie and eat it, too.
God makes no such promise.
Christians shouldn’t want what God does not promise. Christians shouldn’t want Christian Nationalism.

An eye opener for certain!!👍
If I weren’t mistaken, I’d think your desire is for all nations to be ruled by secular atheists just so Christians can be persecuted. Is that how you vote when you go to the voting booth? Do you vote for wicked civil servants and evil magistrates just to give you and your family a better chance to be persecuted?
The Lord’s prayer was for the kingdom to come to Earth, and God’s moral will to be done. The kingdom begins within individuals as the Holy Spirit indwells believers. Those believers have to live somewhere on this earth. It should be our desire for more and more inhabitants of our communities to come to Christ and when possible, to raise up godly civic servants and leaders who will govern righteously according to God’s law. This is not an umbilical desire, it is kingdom minded. Either Satan’s servants will exercise dominion or Christ’s servants will. It is a battle and we should be in the fight as Christian soldiers and ambassadors. We shouldn’t just lay down and be steamrolled by evil people just to experience persecution.
I’m sorry to say that you have this wrong Mr. Miano and I think you should reconsider your opinion. When the banner (Christ) was raised for all nations, it was so that all nations could be drawn to Him. As we are drawn and transformed, it becomes our natural holy desire to seek the good of our neighbors. The logical extension of that would be to create godly communities where we have freedom to build them.
