Yesterday I posted an article/video titled “From Jordan with Love,” showing how I met two wonderful Jordanian Christian ladies–Mary and Susan.
Susan told me she hoped to bring her brother to the North Hollywood Metro Station to hear the preaching. Well, she did just that this morning.
Knowing that Susan was concerned for her brothers spiritual well-being, I chose to preach the law and the gospel from John 3:1-21. I focused on the need of the “new birth”–the need for a person to be “born again” to receive forgiveness of sin and the gift of eternal life.
The video you are about to see begins with the last four minutes of a 40+ minute open-air sermon.
Mary and Susan introduced me to Sami. Sami (52) is a retired Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs. Admittedly, this is not someone I meet everyday. 🙂
Using several analogies, including a “Three Minutes to Live” scenario, I communicated the law and the gospel to Sami. Saad, my younger brother in Christ and open-air preaching partner this morning, and who speaks Arabic, communicated gospel truth to Sami in his native tongue. It was beautiful to watch!
At the end of the video, you will see me lead all of us in prayer.
A stranger joined us in prayer. Sami’s reaction is priceless.
I hope this video is an encouragement to my brothers in sisters in Christ, and I hope the Lord will use it to draw unsaved people to repentance and faith in Him.
