The preaching ministry of Tony Miano

Bethel Redding, Heidi Baker, and the Headless Chicken Prophecy

0118_Heidi Baker (Title)

Who is Heidi Baker?

Heid Baker was born on August 29, 1959. She has been married to her husband Rolland for 36 years (1980). Rolland is presently suffering from poor health and is not presently actively engaged in ministry (Source).

Rolland Baker wrote the following on the couple’s ministry website (Source):

“Heidi and I began Iris Global (previously Iris Ministries) in 1980, and have been missionaries since then. We were both ordained as ministers in 1985 after completing our BA and MA degrees at Vanguard University in southern California. I majored in Biblical Studies, and Heidi in Church Leadership. I am a third-generation missionary born in China, and raised in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. I was greatly influenced by my grandfather, H. A. Baker, who wrote ‘Visions Beyond the Veil,’ an account of the extended visions of heaven and hell that children received in his remote orphanage in southwest China two generations ago.”

Rolland Baker’s grandfather, “Harold Armstrong Baker, known as H.A. Baker, was an American author and Pentecostal missionary to Tibet from 1911 to 1919, to China from 1919 to 1950, when forced to leave the mainland, and then in Taiwan from 1955 until his death in 1971” (Source).

Heidi Baker received her Doctor of Philosophy (Systematic Theology) from King’s College of London, in 1995 (Source).

Heidi Baker’s Testimony

A Google search showed that the following video is widely shared as her salvation testimony (Source).

Heidi Baker claims in her testimony that at the age of 16 God called her to be a missionary and a minister. We know this is not true because while God certainly calls women to serve as missionaries, He does not call them to serve as pastors (1 Timothy 2:12-14). God never contradicts His Word.

Her testimony was filmed and posted by “Catch the Fire TV,” which is the media arm of “Catch the Fire/Toronto,” which is simply the re-branded name of the Toronto Airport Vineyard. The Toronto Airport Vineyard was/is responsible for a false spiritual movement known as the “Toronto Blessing.” It was this movement that led to the crippling of the first church my family and I was members (Source).

In her testimony, she shares how Jesus told her in a vision to look into his eyes and said, “I died so that there will always be enough.” He ripped off a part of his flesh from the side of his bruised and broken body, and handed it to her, telling her to give his flesh to the children. When she took the piece of raw flesh from Jesus’ hand, it immediately turned to bread. And then Jesus held the simple-looking cup to his side, and blood and water flowed from his side, into the cup. Jesus said to her, “This is a cup of suffering and joy. Will you drink it?” And then she gave the cup to thousands of children, from which they all drank.

This alleged vision sounds remarkably like an abomination known as the Roman Catholic Mass. It is no surprise that Baker would articulate a vision so blasphemous. After all the New Apostolic Reformation, as well as other camps within the Charismania circle court the apostate Roman Catholic Church and erroneously, see the Roman Catholic religion as compatible with Christianity (Source/Example).

Baker then describes what any Bible-believing Christian can only describe as an outpouring of demonic forces, which, of course, Baker attributes to the Holy Spirit. She describes being flipped upside down so that she was standing on her head and bruised from head to toe.

As part of her testimony, Baker describes a time in which she was pinned to the floor at the Toronto Airport Vineyard. Allegedly, she had to be carried to her hotel and laid in her bed where she remained frozen, unable to move.

However, the Holy Spirit (insert air quotes) allowed her to get up at 3:00 AM to crawl to the restroom. Once she answered nature’s call (not the Holy Spirit’s), she crawled back into bed, where she returned to her frozen state.

Sadly, Heidi Baker’s testimony is not a testimony of salvation, but rather a testimony of experiences. No mention of sin and repentance. No mention of the cross.

And what did Jesus allegedly tell her in her vision? “I died so that there will always be enough.” This is not the gospel! This is the NAR, Word of Faith, Prosperity Gospel. This is a Galatians 1:6-9 false gospel.

This is the Gospel

This is the gospel–a gospel you will not hear from Heidi Baker or her ilk.

Everyone who stands before God to give an account will do so without excuse (Romans 1:18-23). No one will be able to claim innocence or ignorance of violating God’s law—whether in thought, word, or deed. Because God is good, because He is holy, because He is righteous and just, He must punish sin (Jeremiah 14:10; Hosea 9:9; Luke 13:1-5; John 8:24; Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:11-15). The punishment God has determined for sin, all sin, is an eternity in Hell (Matthew 25:41-46; Revelation 21:8). It matters not whether a person believes this. What matters is that it is true. Truth is not determined by what one believes. God is truth, though every person is found to be a liar (Romans 3:4).

This same God–again, for there is only one God–who is angry with the wicked every day, whose wrath abides upon the ungodly, who will judge the world in righteousness, is the same God who is loving, merciful, gracious, and kind. And He showed His great love for mankind when He sent His Son to earth in the Person of Jesus Christ—fully God and fully Man, yet without sin (Philippians 2:5-11; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus of Nazareth, born of a virgin just as the prophet Isaiah declared more than 700 years before Jesus’s literal, physical birth (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6), lived the perfect, sinless life you cannot live. For some 33 years, Jesus lived a life in perfect obedience to the law of God–in thought, word, and deed–a life you and I could not hope to live for a mere 33 seconds. And then He voluntarily went to the cross (John 10:15, 17; 19:1-27).

Yes, it was the Jewish people who hatefully and viciously demanded Jesus’s execution. Yes, it was the Roman government that carried out the despicable act. But they were all merely instruments in the hands of another. For it pleased God the Father to crush God the Son under the full weight and fury of His wrath against sin (Isaiah 53:10-12). God the Father made God the Son, who knew no sin, to become sin on behalf of those who repent and believe the gospel so that through the sacrifice of His Son many would be made righteous in the eyes of Almighty God. In other words, on that great and terrible day God the Father looked upon God the Son as if He had lived the depraved life of a sinner, and in exchange—a great exchange—God the Father looks upon those whom He has caused to be born again (1 Peter 1:3), to repent and believe the gospel as if they had lived His Son’s perfect, precious, and priceless life (Colossians 2:8-15; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus shed His innocent blood on the cross. He died a literal, physical death on the cross. And He was buried in a tomb not His own. Three days later, Jesus forever defeated sin and death when He physically, bodily rose from the grave (1 Corinthians 15:1-4). And unlike every false god created in the imaginations of men–whether the false gods of Islam, Catholicism, Mormonism, Hinduism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Oprah-ism, or Atheism (a religion like every other spiritual “ism”)—Jesus Christ is alive today and He will return at a time of the Father’s choosing.

What God commands of you all people everywhere is that that you repent (Luke 13:1-5; Acts 17:29-31). Change your mind. Stop believing lies and believe the truth you know—the truth for which you are responsible and will be held accountable. Turn from your sin and turn toward God, and by faith alone receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

You must come to God on His terms. God does not negotiate with sinners. God will not be bribed by your religious practices or what you may perceive as “good works” acceptable to God. God will not weigh your “good” against your “bad,” for God does not see you or anyone else as good. God’s definition of, God’s standard for goodness is moral perfection, and only One has ever, only One will ever meet that standard. And that is Jesus Christ, God’s Son, the Messiah, the King of kings, and the Lord of lords. As for you, as is the case for the rest of mankind, you have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).

If God causes you to be born again and extends to you the gifts of repentance and faith, which only He can give, then He will take your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. You will begin to love the things God loves and hate the things God hates. You will stop presuming upon God’s forgiveness as if it is something you have earned or deserved. Instead, you will have the confident assurance He has forgiven you—not on the basis of any deeds you have done in righteousness, but based entirely upon God’s mercy, grace, and love, and for His glory (Titus 3:4-7).

Why would God allow His one and only Son to die a sinner’s death He did not deserve in order to take upon Himself the punishment sinners rightly deserve for their sins against God so that sinners could be forgiven and saved? “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Please repent and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, while God has given you time.

Heidi Baker’s Affiliations

The most notable among Heidi Baker’s ministry board members is Stacey Campbell. Campbell “is the founder and facilitator of the Canadian Prophetic Council and serves as an honorary member of the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders, presided over by Cindy Jacobs. She and her husband, Wesley, are on the apostolic team of Harvest International Ministries (H.I.M.) under Dr. Ché Ahn. They are also the founders of a church (New Life Church, Kelowna, BC) and a mercy organization for children at risk called ‘Be A Hero.’ As conference speakers, they have ministered in over 60 nations, laboring to see revival and social justice transform the world. Stacey’s personal experience as a church planter, pastor, and missionary gives her prophetic teaching a depth and authority that can only come from personal experience. The Campbells have five grown children and live in Kelowna, B.C., Canada” (Source).

While Stacey Campbell is only an honorary member of the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders (ACPE), she’s no small fish in this particularly putrid spiritual pond.

Campbell participated in the apostolic commissioning of one of the worst characters the New Apostolic Reformation has ever produced: Todd Bentley. She made quite the scene, outdoing most of the false apostles present. She showed herself either to be a really bad actress, demon-possessed or both (Source).

Bill Johnson, leader of the Bethel Redding cult, also participated in Bentley’s commissioning, stating, “We shape the course of history by partnering with you.” And, “You welcome glory as well as anyone I have ever seen in my life. I long to learn from you.” (Source).

Bentley soon showed himself to be a fornicator and adulterer (Source).

Bentley was later restored to the ministry by NAR leader and false teacher, Rick Joyner (Source). Joyner also participated in Bentley’s commissioning, saying, Bentley would be the antidote for the “lukewarmness” in the church (Source).

Bentley back in business and as bad as ever. He claims a $1 donation will result in one soul saved (Source). He also boasts of one million “decisions for Christ” in the first ten years of his ministry (Source). Most recently, Bentley, up to his old carny shenanigans, claimed that angel feathers and gemstones appeared at a meeting in Fresno (Source).

Heidi Baker’s Headless Chicken Prophecy

Heidi Baker is a frequent flyer at Bethel Redding. She speaks there often.

Recently, on the Bethel.TV YouTube channel, a clip of Heidi Baker speaking was posted. The title of the video: The Call of an Eagle – Heidi Baker, Bethel Church.

Here’s the video:

Baker begins in typical false apostolic prophetic fashion by singing a little freestyle, I mean “spirit-led” tune, and engaging in the droning practice of repeating words and phrases. By the looks of the crowd gathered, the people had already been whipped into an altered state of consciousness, before Baker begins her prophetic utterance. Baker begins her shtick in such a way as to make sure the people stay in the emotional and psychological state she wants them. She’s been trained by the worst.

Her first pronouncement to the people is that God wants to lift them above a non-specific storm to give them generic eagle eyes. She can’t be too specific. There might be someone in the crowd lucid enough to catch on.

She declares that God has given her a prophetic word for America, a word that was also for the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (likely the school to which she referred). Baker’s alleged prophetic word is punctuated with a shout of “Ho!” and a hoped-to-be-believed involuntary snap of the head to the right. After all, what would a prophecy be without a quick, spirit-launched Taser blast?

Baker then allegedly heard God say, “Your destiny is not to be a chicken.” Slipping out of their altered state of consciousness (real or feigned), several people in the audience laugh.

Hoots and hollers follow when Baker proclaims that God doesn’t want them to be chickens. He wants them to be eagles. That’s rather judgmental against chickens if you ask me.

Baker tells her audience that God wants them to see above non-specific dust, a non-specific storm, and a non-specific swirl.

God’s (not the God of the Bible, mind you) tirade against chickenhood continues by allegedly declaring through Baker that he wants them to soar like eagles and not hop around on the ground like chickens. More chicken intolerance.

Baker references Isaiah 40:31 (the first verse of Scripture I ever memorized) out of context, course. No Surprise. At Bethel Redding, “location, location, location”—whether earthly or during a little heaven tourism—is far more important than “context, context, context.”

Just in case the “vision of an eagle” isn’t enough, Baker prophesizes that God wants to give the audience power over serpents. They will dive like eagles and scoop up snakes. Then, they will fly high enough to suffocate the snakes.

Look, I’m not a fan of snakes, but that’s a tough way to die. And could someone please do the research for me that shows the altitude a snake suffocates and compare that to the altitude an eagle suffocates? If you actually find that information, please post it in the comments section.

Oh, I know. I know. She’s speaking metaphorically. But I’m writing this article, in part, to calm my nerves. I’m so angry with this false prophetess and the cult that is Bethel Redding, well, I wanna kick a chicken!

Baker then prophesizes that God is calling them to the scariest place they’ve ever been—a place of fearless love. She punctuates this particular utterance with a brief display of “holy laughter.”

It’s at this point that Baker begins to stall. Her speech begins to have more gaps in it—more pregnant pauses. Of course, it’s speculation on my part, but it’s not unreasonable (no more unreasonable than Baker’s blasphemous utterances) that Baker is running out of things to say. She’s thinking on the fly, trying where else to take the eagle and chicken metaphor.

And then…..

Still speaking what she has the audience convinced are the very words of God, Baker says. “I’m going to call you; I’m going to call you to a place where you warn, even warn those who are chirping [momentary pause…..and wait for it] with no heads” (emphasis mine).

This image is a screen capture a mere second after Baker makes the pronouncement that somewhere people exist (metaphorically or literally, who knows) who chirp like birds…..and have no heads.

0119_Chirping with No Heads

Notice the family of four prominent in the middle of the screen–presumably a husband, his wife, and two small children? Notice the parents’ expressions? What might this mean? What might this couple be thinking?

The husband/father is smiling–almost laughing. Maybe he is in fool, I mean full agreement with Baker and he thinks what he is experiencing is really cool and of the Lord. Or, maybe he’s thinking, “I sold everything, packed up my family, and moved to Redding, CA, to attend Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry. DOH! What was I thinking!” Or maybe he’s thinking something else. He might just be smiling at the man who walks by and sits down to his right. Only he and God knows.

The wife/mother has her hands over her mouth in an expression of what appears to be either stunned amazement or shock and horror. We should certainly hope for the latter. What might she be thinking? Maybe she’s thinking, “Wow! I was just thinking the other day about headless people chirping like birds…..with no heads…..and chirping…..like birds…..with no heads…..and no beaks!” Or maybe she’s thinking, “My kids just heard that. How am I going to explain headless people chirping like birds to my kids? Maybe this school has a third-semester course in handling this situation. In the meantime, if the kids express any discomfort or doubt, I’ll gently admonish them not to touch the Lord’s anointed and go up, up, up, up, up to bed.” Or maybe she’s thinking something else. Only she and God knows.

Chicken-Run-2000

Baker continues: “I’m going to call you to a place where you would warn, even warn those who are running around the yard with no heads. I’m the head, says the Lord. I’m the head. I’m your head. You’re not meant to be headless chickens who don’t even know they’re running with no head.”

May I just say, I breathed a sigh of relief just now. I was concerned the headless people knew they were running around like chickens with their heads cut off!

But wait! There’s more!

Baker says, again duping the audience into believing she is speaking the very words of God, “In that place, you will learn to soar without flapping, without flapping, and without sweat, because it will be by my spirit.”

A couple of things. If a bird is flapping, it’s not soaring. God knows that. So, God would not say, through Heidi Baker, that He is going to make people soar without flapping. Since God created birds, He actually knows the mechanics of bird flight. The God who gave eagles the ability to soar knows that soaring means flying without flapping wings.

Yet Another Reason to Avoid Bethel Redding Like the Plague

Heidi Baker is the type of charlatan that members and attenders of Bethel Redding are exposed to on a regular basis. She is a false teacher, a false prophetess, and may not be saved herself.

If you attend Bethel Redding, if you are influenced by Bethel Redding and people like Heidi Baker, flee to Christ!

I have well-documented the unbiblical, even demonic activities of Bethel Redding. You are not safe there. You are not safe being exposed to this cult’s and its affiliates’ false teachings.

Wow very dangerous Cult, this thing could flip at any 2nd & God forbid we have another Jonestown in our midst, right in our backyard. I wonder if any Christians stand outside This Cultic Church and tries sharing the true Gospel with them. Seeing the children running around is about the saddest thing to see, to know that their parents are in a spiritual wasteland.

I deal with a lot of JW’s and they’ve thrown false prophets proclaiming Christianinty at me, and this Bethel Cult is more ammunition for them.

But we have The Gospel and we know it’s power. Romans 1:16

And that story about the dream and bruises, nothing but demonic activity. I had an experience of bruising but I immediately knew it was all demonic. To attribute that to God Almighty The Holy Spirit, wow.

In dealing with JW’s I’ve seen that Woman are the ones that carry the Zeal most of the time; you can see the unhappiness in their Husband’s face most of the times, although they are very humble, they are depressed and lost. A lot of these Woman that try to run Ministries and say there being led by the Spirit of God are usually lost as well while there husband hides or is behind the curtain.

I always try to keep it pretty basic with the unbeliever. It’s all about Jesus Christ (Gospel), Word of God doesn’t contradict it self. Word of God Final Authority over all.
These Woman need to be shown the basics as well: Gen 3:16 , 1 Tim 2:9-15

And to The Cultic Church Bethel well….

Read Amos 5:5, God’s Judgement came upon The Bethel of Ancient times and will also come upon you. Good conquers Evil, and God’s Truth will always prevail against False Truth.

    REPENT & BELIEVE!!!

It was hard to find the altitude at which a snake suffocates, although snakes are rarely in high altitudes, with a few exceptions. It seems as if the issue with the higher altitudes has more to do with the colder temperatures and the snakes being cold blooded than the lack of oxygen. But regardless, that is not how the eagle kills the snake. Rather, the eagle kills it by grabbing it and pinning it with its talons and stabbing it with its beak.
If God the Holy Spirit were going to use an analogy to nature, don’t you think He would get it accurate?!

I searched phrases like “how do eagles kill snakes,” “at what altitude do snakes suffocate,” “do eagles kill snakes by suffocating them,” and “at what altitude do eagles fly”

“Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.” Hmmm, interesting isn’t it? Cannibalism…that’s exactly what it is…let’s continue…to make sure that’s what He’s actually saying…

Then the Jews began to argue with one another, saying, “How can this man give us His flesh to eat?” 53 So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.…55 “For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. 56 “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 “As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.…

So what happened, after His ‘cannibalistic remarks?’ 60 Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this said, “This is a difficult statement; who can listen to it?” 61 But Jesus, conscious that His disciples grumbled at this, said to them, “Does this cause you to stumble? 62 “What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?….. 66 As a result of this many of His disciples withdrew and were not walking with Him anymore. 67 So Jesus said to the twelve, “You do not want to go away also, do you?”…

Does sound quite like the ‘Heidi Baker Cult’ doesn’t it? Except it’s straight out of John, Chapter 6, …and many of His disciples abandoned Him, after that statement. So there’s no Doubt that He actually meant it quite Literally. So it seems Heidi’s vision was quite Biblical. And indeed she feeds over 10,000 children a day…how many children have you fed in your lifetime? And she has started over 10,000 churches across Mozambique and schools and is building a University. She teaches people to not only believe in Jesus Christ but to love Him and to worship Him. And she teaches people how to love the Holy Spirit, and to worship Him. All of which you find so ‘beneath you and revolting.’ Maybe God finds you revolting as well? Yes, Heidi believes in, and honors the Holy Spirit she doesn’t reject Him like you do, so guess what? He shows up! Yes, He shows up in her meetings and manifests Himself, and people are delivered from demons and oppression and diseases and psychological problems.. She believes in, and honors Jesus Christ. You don’t have to watch many of her videos to see that. So Who are you honoring? Definitely not Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit, neither of whom you know.

So what have you back-biting non-believers who reject the Holy Spirit and attack her, what will you have to say for yourselves on the Day of Judgement? As the demons told the 2 men who thought they could cast out devils (that’s Acts 19:16, which you are most likely also unfamiliar with)., “Jesus we know and Paul we have heard of, but who are you?’ So I ask, who are you? Who are you to think you can attack Heidi Baker? Who are you to attack God’s Anointed One, who is doing His work in the earth? I’ve heard of Heidi, as I am sure the devil has, since he possesses you and helps you write this nonsense, attacking the works of the Holy Spirit, but who are you? What is your ministry? Where are the people you have saved? Where are the children you have fed, educated, where are the lives you have saved?

You really should repent in sackcloth and ashes and ask God for mercy.

    Hi Tony,

I whole heartily agree with everything that you are saying here and I appreciate your candor and sense of humor in writing about this. I feel two things when watching these videos. 1. I laugh at this because it’s seems like some sort of SNL skit, it is so ridiculous, 2. I feel sad that people are so easily fooled by this nonsense. I recently had to remove my family from a church that was starting to embrace Bethel concepts and the leadership confessed that they see nothing wrong with Bill Johnson or Heidi Baker. Talk about lack of discernment.

These are the type of people that I believe Paul was writing about to Timothy.

Keep doing what you are doing.

    God Bless You Brother

To be honest, this article was informative, and Delson, your comment thought-provoking. But both the article, and your comment, Delson, were in an attacking, unchristlike manner. Either honoring to Christ? Not fully. It proves that we are all still sinners, Christian, though we may be! If a person confesses Christ, and is solid on the cores of Christianity, grace is better used with them, your brother or sister, not malice, mockery, or condemnation. As a person who has been in a charismatic church and a reformed one, I can understand both sides. I think the author of this article, and some commenters, have pointed out some apt things. God who created function and order would not speak erroneously about what he has created in a prophecy. But Christians can error on hearing God’s voice can’t they? Even in understanding God’s word? It doesn’t mean they aren’t a Christian, it means they are still growing. But, should a person have a huge amplified voice if they haven’t learned to rightly discern God’s voice? I don’t think so. That is scary to me. And, I do feel trepidation at the thought of baby Christians subjecting themselves to ministries such as hers. I don’t think she making it up, trying to deceive, but I think she can be deceived herself. If God doesn’t want us to even speak in tongues in public for fear that others coming in will think we are crazy, where then is there room for “ho’s!”, head-jerks, “holy laughter”, and repetitive words? That’s not in the Word of God at all. That’s pagan stuff. Christianity mixed with paganism. God can correct and save is but it is dangerous ground to defend. Bless her for taking care of the needy, though. I don’t know that much of her personally, but I was at one time in my life, interested in her Harvest School and Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry. I don’t know specifics enough to comment much, but I do know that pride and error are s dangerous foes when spiritual gifts are put on a platform, as are in these “schools”. Love is supposed to be the platform. Humble love. That’s been my lesson in 6 years of struggling with these issues. Still haven’t “arrived”, at all, that is nonsense, but that has been my lesson on my pilgrim journey so far. 😉😊 Blessings, brothers and sisters.

I enjoy the tongue in cheek humor of these presentations. I also appreciate that Heidi Baker is not being summarily consigned to the burning fires of hell as so many wolf hunters and heretic exposers tend to do to the people they are criticizing. Outright condemnation not a helpful approach when it comes to testing the spirits and teachings that come our way. The examination and weighing of everything against the Word of God, to hold fast what is good and obtain from every form of evil regarding prophetic utterances is the rule of thumb.
Let’s face it. People can be weird, and where people who are non believers are probably going to continue to be wierd as believers. Look at Isaiah wandering around naked, Jeremiah hiding his underwear under a rock and putting a cattle yoke on himself. Hosea marries a prostitute and Ezekiel eats a scroll, draws pictures on clay tablets, cooks food over manure, and shaves his beard with an actual sword. Weird. Jesus talks about people eating His flesh and drinking his blood and people get freaked out and leave. Agabus ties himself up with Paul’s belt, and that’s just weird too.
So we aren’t supposed to despise prophecy, in fact Paul encourages it’s exercise in an atmosphere of orderly respect for each other. I wouldn’t go to a conference or travel to Redding unless I sensed very specific direction from the Lord to do so. I do not think it wise to ask after signs and wonders when the Bible makes it clear that these things should be following after me as I talk about Jesus. And they do, so why would I pay to go someplace else to see someone else doing the things of God that He wants to do with me for free right where I am.
Now I’ve never put spit mud in anyone’s eyes, stuck my fingers in anyone’s ears, or laid myself over a dead body, but I know these weird things were done and those who did them were rejected as blasphemous heretics while doing exactly what God wanted them to do. Lord forgive us for being among those who wanted to stone them.

“’I don’t believe it was Paul’s intent to promote a male-dominated system of church governance or to blame women for the problem of evil.”

“Paul welcomed women as partners in ministry and penned words of resounding equality: “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28, NIV)”

To the person who wrote this article.

Reading your article has made me sick in every way. You better be careful because you will be judged in the same way you have judged here unless you repent. How dare you criticize the works of a woman whos central and only message is Jesus Christ.

You disown and go as far as saying the works they do are even demonic? You hypocritical Pharisee of today’s age!!! Shame on you big time. Whitewashed tomb, your void of the truth and desensitized to the works of Jesus.

This is not righteous judgement, it’s embarrassing. I pray right now that Jesus touches you and has mercy to wreck your life in the exact way you preach against. Accept what he’s done on the cross and rid yourself of sin before it’s too late. Put off your old filthy garments.

Adam – Filled with the fire of Jesus and the Holy spirit, I see miracles and healings and pray in toungues and have crazy visions. Jesus is king.

Throwing away a prophesy based on the words “Chicken Prophecy”, calling it heresy, and critiquing it based on the humor of those words is honestly quite ridiculous. By that logic, you should throw out prophecies of fat cows and skinny cows. If you’re concerned about the science of a snake suffocation based on altitude, you should throw out prophecies of dried up skeletons in a valley coming to life and flesh coming about them. God doesn’t always speak to man in the clear natural order of how we know science to be. That being said, I love and support you, and I love and support Heidi. I pray that we all learn to see Christ clearer, and see one another as he sees.

If you support both me and Heidi Baker, then you support people from two different religions. You are a double-minded man, regarding this.

Heidi Baker, like other false prophets and teachers in the New Apostolic Reformation need to repent and believe the gospel. At present, they are of their father, the devil.

I was a little sceptical about her and very sceptical about the toronto blessing and indeed about people i had witnessed who fell on the floor supoosedly under the spirit or started laughing manically or shaking etc. I even wrote to people I knew saying that I thought it was demonic. however, I have changed my mind from what I have seen and heard.
this womans works/fruit speak for themselves. you cant deny it. also I have met and heard the arnotts and they are lovely. Its true that there will be false prophets and we have to be discerning but exercise caution in case you blaspheme the work of the Holy spirit.
My mind was changed about the movement of the HS when I personally saw a young man from a muslim family give his life to Jesus and come under the power of the HS. he was as if shoved backwards a few times. I asked him afterwards what he had felt and he said “I felt a man pushing into me and I felt a wind blowing through me”. I know this guy. he just didnt know enough scripture to know these things about the HS.
Then I have heard so many testimonies that have been very convincing in particular one where a group of category A prisoners all came under the toronto blessing in the UK after someone prayed for them and they all were saved, some going on to work withsaving others afterwards.
I have also heard another pastor from mozambique who has been evangelising since the age of 14 and raises the dead /heals etc mention how he met heidi in mozambique. there was a cholera break out and peole were dying unloved and alone in hospitals and nobody was allowed near them because it was so contagious. he met heidi there nursing and holding people praying with them and giving them water and comforting them in their dying agonies and he said he knew then she really cared for these people. his name is pastor supressa sit hole.
you need to look at the fruit, and pray and go hear these people before making public denouncements. This woman is very kind and lovely and her accomplishments for God speak the truth. You should repent because satan is always ensnaring us into traps when he can. ok God bless you and make his face to shine upon you and give you peace and help.

Heidi and her husband are walking the walk, taking care of orphans, dealing with the poverty, the threat of terrorism. I am pretty sure the LIVING GOD WHO CREATED THE UNIVERSE, WHO GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON is with and in them, You know, the ONE who said you will do greater works than I do JOHN 14:12. The Bible is full of the supernatural, full of the offensive, including the very words of JESUS, SON OF GOD, HIMSELF, who said ‘EAT MY FLESH, DRINK MY BLOOD”

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that there is such a vehement and aggressive objection to Ms. Baker’s work and ministry here. This is especially so since I am sure we are all united in the unshakable truth that it is through Christ and Christ alone that any person under heaven may come into salvation by means of His grace and believing faith on our part. On that essential, I am also certain that none of us would dare dispute but hold to as a solid foundation that He alone is the truth, the way and the life. What unites us is greater than what divides us, to quote a pastor I know.

The Word of God also exhorts us to live peaceably with all men and we should not be turning our principles into a reason to bring others down, inasmuch as they are what we hold fast to. Sometimes, a patient heart, and an ear that is willing to listen and understand the differences in our perspectives accompanied with gentleness of approach helps us to see things the way others who are different from us do, but it does not mean that we have to condone what they believe in.

I think Ms. Baker would be hurt to know that her efforts in her walk in the faith and service to the Lord were subject to ridicule. It is not that I do not find some of her practices questionable too, but I think God always looks at us wanting to see and find the best and whatever goodness we possess in our nature. He is not looking to bring us down and neither should we do that to others. None of us stand righteous before God except by the atoning work of Christ Jesus on the cross and it is to that we must turn or surely perish. This we do in humility of faith and contrite submission to receive His love in the generosity and magnanimity of His heart.

God bless and may the grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. Shalom.

PS: I’m sorry I had to send in my comments a second time if the first one did get through. Please ignore and delete this if you have two entries. Thank you.

James 1:27 New International Version (NIV)
27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

    Isaiah 58
6 “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
    to set the oppressed free
    and break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

    Amos 5
    21 “I hate, I despise your religious festivals;
your assemblies are a stench to me.
22 Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings,
    I will not accept them.
Though you bring choice fellowship offerings,
I will have no regard for them.
23 Away with the noise of your songs!
I will not listen to the music of your harps.
24 But let justice roll on like a river,
    righteousness like a never-failing stream!

    Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

    Matthew 6
    Judging Others
7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

lots more – could add by their fruit you will know them……… wise up – do your thing if you have to but let others do theirs too, Heidi Baker is a beautiful, precious daughter of God and is doing so much more than most of us for those God calls us to. Perhaps you need to examine yourself and earnestly seek God’s heart rather than preach with such a legalistic heart – Jesus reserved his criticism for those who thought they knew it all and kept his laws!

To say you are being judgmental in this article is by far the complete opposite of what you are doing. You are warning others of a false teacher. If someone speaks of a different Jesus thus declaring a different gospel, then they should be called out! Delson is exactly right!

I cringed when I read this accoubt of Heidi Baker! There will be only one sin that will not be forgiven. That is the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit! That is a terrifying thing.
When people accused Jesus of doing things from Beelzebub He rebuked them and warned them.
Jesus did strange things, said strange things, went places and people were offended. The Holy Spirit works in strange ways. There are many accounts of people doing thing not quite palatable to people who do not understand God. All sorts of miracles. Many people dismiss them when they read them but they are there.
You will know them by their works…Her works follow her…Even the Diciples said some were doing things in Jesus name and He himself said if they are not against him they were for him. Heidi is more than not against him even if some do not like her methods and judge her to not be of Him!

At the least you do not have the right to call her and insinuate that she is of beelzebub. Be careful in your self righteous judgement and indignation you may be is terrible danger of blasphemy of the Holy Spirit!
She does not need me to defend her. I write this because many people will be reading this and you (writer of this artical) are leading them astray attacking a woman of God

No, Sherry. Heidi Baker is not a woman of God. She’s never repented of her blasphemous, false account of going to heaven and seeing “the body parts room” (https://youtu.be/m0gW7SKpdW0). To my knowledge, she has yet to repent of any of her false prophecies and delusions.

Also the face of Jesus as a death mask, and He is upsidedown (inverted, as they do). Plus the image of a lamb with a lion keeping it from the cross. The angel “Emma” is in fact a ‘god’ of death.
