We would like you to prayerfully consider partnering with Cross Encounters Ministries. This ministry exists to change lives through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, to disciple Christians, and to serve the local church. While God is the one who meets the needs of the ministry, He accomplishes this, in part, by leading Christians to prayerfully and financially partner with us.
Brianna and Isaiah are examples of what the Lord accomplishes with your support.

We are grateful for your thoughtful and generous support. There are two ways you can financial support Cross Encounters Ministries: either via PayPal or via check.
Brianna (click to watch Tony’s conversation with Brianna) a 17-year-old freshman psychology major, was on the campus of California State University Northridge. She was sitting alone, with her nose in a text book, when I saw her. I asked her if I could have a conversation with her about spiritual things. She agreed.
Brianna was very candid with me, telling me she battled depression in her younger years. She said she wants to become a psychologist to help others through depression and other struggles. Brianna was raised Roman Catholic, but this would be the first time she heard the gospel of Jesus Christ. And by the grace of God alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone, Brianna believed the gospel!
Your partnership will help us to reach people around the world, including young people on college and university campuses, with the gospel–people like Isaiah.
Isaiah (click to watch Tony’s conversation with Isaiah), a 17-year-old high school senior from Southern California who was visiting the campus of George Fox University, in Newberg, OR. Isaiah described himself as a Christian who had fallen away from the faith. His hope was that attending a Christian university would help him get back on track. After asking Isaiah to share the gospel with me, which he could not articulate, I shared the law and the gospel with him. I asked Isaiah if he heard a difference between what he shared with me and what I shared with him. He said, “What you said to me made me think about everything, like the stuff I did back in second grade. It was deep.”
I asked Isaiah if there was any reason why he wouldn’t turn from his sin and receive Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, today. He quickly and firmly answered, “There’s no reason. I would do it.” I prayed for Isaiah. As we said our good-byes, Isaiah told me he was going to interrupt his tour of the campus to go spend some time alone with God
Equipping the Saints
In addition to proclaiming the gospel, Cross Encounters Ministries also encourages and equips Christians to reach the lost with that same gospel. We receive encouraging emails, like this one from Adam:
“I just want to say thank you and let you know how much you have been a blessing to my walk with our Lord and Savior. I watch your videos all the time. I am currently stationed in Guam in the Navy. I got saved a little over a year ago. I feel that my gift is to go out and talk to people and share the gospel with them. Watching you go out and witness has been a real blessing. So my question is do you ever go by yourself to go out and witness and what do you recommend for this? Thank you for any and all advice.”
With the support of friends like you, we are able to disciple and encourage other Christians. The encouragement is a two-way street. We are often equally edified by those we serve. Take Daniel’s email, for instance:
“Mr. Miano, I’ve been reading and listening to a bunch of your stuff lately. I just finished listening to a clip of your message at the Herald’s Society . . . I would just like to take a minute to encourage you and thank you. I am one of those people who have never met you, but you have had an impact on my life . . . I can hear the deep compassion and concern for your brothers. Keep pressing on, brother. Your messages are right on and they’re only right on because you realize that you can’t do anything apart from Christ (John 15:5). Stay humble, stay bold, and don’t ever stop seeking His wisdom and grace. Love you brother! Thanks for all you do.”
Serving Local Bodies
One of the great joys in this ministry is the opportunities the Lord gives us to support His Church around the world, in their evangelistic efforts. We are honored, privileged, and blessed to travel to other cities, states, and countries, and to be used by the Lord to equip the local church for the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12).
Geoffrey Kirkland is the pastor of Christ Fellowship Bible Church, in St. Louis, MO. In a recent letter, Pastor Kirkland wrote:
“Christ Fellowship Bible Church planned about eight months ago (early in 2013) for Tony to make a five-day visit to Christ Fellowship Bible Church in St Louis to teach and equip our flock on what the biblical gospel is and what biblical evangelism is. Additionally, he would preach during both services on Sunday. And, we would hit the streets and preach with members of CFBC to hand out tracts, open air preach, engage in conversations together, etc.”
“Tony had a very profitable time with CFBC recently when he visited (October 2013). He preached on the gospel, biblical evangelism, the glory of the gospel (Phil 1), and equipped the flock at CFBC (about 60+ people attended) to better know and be convinced of proclaiming the gospel as a way of life for every Christian.”
We, at Cross Encounters Ministries are so very grateful for the financial gifts we receive from friends like you. The Lord uses your support to make conversations with people like Brianna and Isaiah possible. The Lord uses your support to bless Christians around the world with resources to help them grow in their faith and in their evangelism efforts. And the Lord uses your support to build up His Bride, His Church, the Body of Christ. Cross Encounters Ministries would not exist without you.
At Cross Encounters Ministries, we are grateful for every person who has partnered with us to take the gospel to the streets, to encourage believers, and to strengthen churches.
